Ryan DeMott

My name is Ryan Christopher DeMott and I'm 22 year's old. I love cars, the beauty of nature and video games. I've been playing video games my whole life. As a kid, I was very socially awkward and I never talked to anybody. I was always the quiet kid in the back of the classroom and at lunch, I was the kid that sat by myself.

I was introduced to Call of Duty back in 2007 with the release of Call of Duty 4. Call of Duty 4 would really take over my life as a younger kid. Playing Search and Destroy from when I would get home from school to when I had to go to sleep. Then I'd wait for my parents to go to sleep and play until 3 or 4am. Then I was introduced to Gamebattles, where my life changed forever. It was my escape and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Younger me was pretty stupid. I would tell myself not to turn down any of the offers I got to play Call of Duty with a team. Take it day by day I said. “Be Better”. However, one day I want to hopefully own my own eSports organization and be a part of the growing sport. Or maybe a cop. I'd like that to.

I draw a lot of my inspiration from the people that do what they love everyday. I get to wake up everyday and do something that I love. I've been playing competitively since 2007 and I still love it. Cars are also a huge passion of mine. I love anything wih wheels and a motor. Not a lot of people get to what they love and finding something like that is special.

Determination has always been my strongest skill. I always strive to be the best at everything I do. No matter how many times I've lost or have been physically and mentally drained, I never gave up.

I want nothing but the best for my family. Family is the most important thing to me. When I'm not gaming, I'm spending time with my family. Especially my little sister, she is my world. As far as friends go, I wish them nothing but the best but some friends I consider family also and again I want them to pursue and follow there dreams.

Aside from all that, I'm just a kid from Brooklyn, trying to live the dream I've had since I was a kid. To be the best person I can be in life.
